Grunt (SI)
Grunt is a nomadic musical horde through which the local music scene finally joins the European wave of bands merging Western heritage with Eastern influences – in this case, the Balkans, Turkey, and beyond.
The ensemble roams and explores indigenous sonic landscapes, giving them an original authorial imprint through musical composition and production. Their main focus lies at the intersection of ethno and rock, blended with contemporary approaches, while also drawing from the richness of classical music and the freedom of improvised expression.

Grunt je nomadska glasbena horda, s katero se domača glasbena scena končno pridružuje evropskemu valu zasedb, ki spajajo zapuščino zahodnega z vzhodnim – v tem primeru Balkana, Turčije in še dlje. Zasedba se potepa in raziskuje po avtohtonih zvočnih krajinah in jim skozi glasbene kompozicije in produkcijo daje originalen avtorski pečat. Zanima jo predvsem stičišče polj etna z rockom ter novodobnimi pristopi, ne zanemarja pa niti zakladnice klasične glasbe in svobodnega, improviziranega glasbenega pristopa.
