KedeDuol is a musical duo formed in 2016 in Nairobi, comprising Kenyan Afro-percussionist and singer Reagan Oduor Nyachieng'a and Danish violinist and singer Amalie Malmgren Asmild. They have toured Sweden, Denmark, Kenya, and Uganda, delivering interactive storytelling and musical performances for all ages. Their music is a fusion of traditional Nordic melodies, rhythmic melodies from Kenya, and original compositions inspired by Kenya's urban and mixed cultures and languages. Reagan incorporates traditional Kenyan percussion music into his performances to promote cultural awareness and collaboration, while Amalie skillfully blends music and storytelling to captivate audiences of various age groups. The duo lives in Sweden and they believe in the power of music as a universal language to transcend barriers and bring about social changes.
