Various genres – if we can still speak of genres at all in the age of fragmented rock devotion, punk rebellion, folk sincerity, jazz playfulness, and classical virtuosity—flow together like streams, brooks, and rivers merging into the ocean of a single music.
The band’s songs are imbued with social awareness and a sharp sense of contemporary reality, yet they also resonate with the more delicate strings of the heart. The music and lyrics were written by Andrej, whose inspiration leaves room for each member’s creative input.
Brencl is the name of Andrej’s father’s vineyard in Bistrica ob Sotli, where the group first started playing music.

Različni žanri, če v drobcih rokovske predanosti, pankovske upornosti, ljudske iskrenosti, džezovske razigranosti in klasične virtuoznosti sploh še lahko govorimo o žanrih, se zlivajo v celoto, kakor studenci, potoki in reke v ocean ene same glasbe. Pesmi skupine preveva socialni čut in udarni ton družbene stvarnosti, ubrane pa so tudi na tanjše strune srca. Glasbo in besedila je ustvaril Andrej, njegov navdih pa pušča dovolj prostora za ustvarjalni pridih vsakega od članov. Brencl je ime vinograda Andrejevega očeta v Bistrici ob Sotli, kjer so z muziciranjem začeli.
