Circle dances are simple social dances suitable for non-dancers, to music from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Balkans, Greece, Israel, Russia, South America… and some newly choreographed. Most of them are joyful and ritmic, some of them are rather meditative and are meant to bring the group together on various levels of consciousness. Musicians are welcome to join the circles with their instruments and voices too. Marijan Rudel studied dancing in France with David Roberts, one of the pioneers of today's circle dances, with Laura Shanon, who is considered today the greatest expert on circle dances, and with Martine Winnington from Switzerland, who leads Workshop on Bach Flower Therapy dances all over the world. So far, he has led numerous dance seminars in Slovenia, Croatia and England.
