Katja Šulc (SI)
Katja Šulc is a Slovenian singer, songwriter and musician interweaving poetry, contemporary folk, traditional music and storytelling. She released five studio albums, her latest West Wind Blow From Your Prairie Nest (ŠKUC, 2024) pays homage to Native American culture, with original compositions to poetry written by renowned Native poets. The album was created at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in New Mexico, it reached World Music Chart Top 20 and was nominated for Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik.

Doslej je izdala pet studijskih albumov, njen zadnji West Wind Blow From Your Prairie Nest (ŠKUC, 2024) je poklon kulturi severnoameriških staroselcev, z uglasbeno poezijo njihovih vidnejših pesnikov. Album je nastajal na Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) v Novi Mehiki, ob izidu je bil uvrščen na ugledno mednarodno glasbeno lestvico WMCE Top 20 in prejel nominacijo za Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik.
