Kavasutra (SI)
Kavasutra is a four-member band from the Creative Zone of Vrtojba, contributing to the Slovenian creative music scene. All members come from Zlatko Kaučič's school, where they spent years refining their musical expression, which they now explore not only in Kavasutra, but also in many other projects. Last year, they released their second album Ta veseli dan under the Radio Študent – Zarš label. With the new album, new inspirations are emerging, rooted in a deep dive into progressive rock, jazz, grunge, and the rock music of the 1970s. You can feel the band's love for Frank Zappa and Marko Brecelj. Kavasutra seeks authenticity in music and aims to be socially critical, yet doesn’t take itself too seriously, spicing it all up with a healthy dose of irony and absurd humor.

Štirčlanska zasedba iz Ustvarjalne cone Vrtojba v glasbi išče pristnost in želi biti družbeno kritična, a se pri tem ne jemlje preveč resno – vse skupaj začini z zdravo mero ironije in absurdnega humorja. Vsi člani prihajajo iz šole Zlatka Kaučiča, kjer so več let izpopolnjevali svoj glasbeni izraz, ki ga danes raziskujejo ne le v Kavasutri, temveč tudi v številnih drugih projektih. Lani so pod okriljem založbe Radio Študent – ZARŠ izdali svoj drugi album Ta veseli dan. Z novim albumom prihajajo tudi nove glasbene iskrice, ki izhajajo iz poglobljenega potopa v progresivni rock, jazz, grunge in rock glasbo sedemdesetih let. Čutiti je ljubezen do Franka Zappe in Marka Breclja.
