Trš (SI)

Trš is an ancient trunk without branches—but it’s also the name of a musical project using instruments made from the wood of a fir tree that grew in Čadrg at the end of the Stone Age, precisely 6,560 years ago. The group of musicians formed spontaneously during the Midsummer Night celebration in Čadrg, where they first played for the fir tree and the marsh where its trunk was found. The collection of instruments is constantly expanding, crafted by both Trš and their friends. Their music shifts between dreamy repetitions and powerful crashes, always drawing inspiration from the sound of the Stone Age.
