Argentinian Original Compositions

“Estrada” is the title of Manu Rosales' second full-length album. It comes from the latin word strāta, meaning road. The poesis of Estrada proposes to shift the focus from personal biography and turn to the landscapes of the encounters that emerge along the road. Estrada seeks to capture songs that are imprints of migratory movements, addressing migration as a phenomenon of displacement and as a consequence of climate change. It pursues to capture the chant of various birds, birds that migrate and move together towards the same direction, and then depart on different routes.
