Stop Pop

Representing the younger generation of Slovenian artists, the rising singer-songwriter conjures up the atmosphere of a smoke-filled club and evokes the feeling of a lone night drive. He caresses us with his soft voice, witty lyrics, gently weeping strings and fragile rhythms. Although his music – a quiet echo of immersive self-reflection – blends pop, indie and lo-fi influences, he defines it as its own genre known as “stop pop”. Since 2018, he has released two EPs and a few singles that resonated with the Slovenian radio audiences.
