We are proud to present the Floating Castle masterclass programme and Etno Histeria World Orchestra 2023!
10 intense workshops will be held inbetween 17th and 30th July 2003 at same place as Etno Histeria World Orchestra and Floating Castle Festival - in the forests around castle Snežnik.
More than 200 actors, musicians, acrobats, dancers, puppeteers, animators and clowns will work on their skills and knowledge with experienced mentors and join other artists on the evening gatherings filled with jams, shows, dance and other programmes. There might also be some excursions and free time.
The aim of the process is also to co-work with other workshops, as well as 30 visual artists, which will be at the time transforming the whole area into a huge visual installation. The final production will be performed and developed at the Floating Castle festival from 27th till 30th July. The outcome can differ for each masterclass, as well as each participant. You can become part of a moving installation, short show, intervention, procession or concert. We are in favor of creating fusions of different art languages (for ex. live music, impro theatre and dance) as well as starting your own individual projects, which could be developed after the festival.
Price of the masterclass includes:
- food (3 meals per day through the duration of the masterclass, 1 meal per day during the festival)
- free camping (but bring your own tent!)
- festival pass
IMPORTANT: The spots for the masterclasses are limited. In case your chosen masterclass will be full we will notify you so you can either be put on the waiting list or choose a different one.
